This weekend, E and I took a trip to Ricketts Glen State Park in middle of nowhere, Pennsylvania with some friends. They kept telling us how cool the waterfalls look up there when they freeze so we decided to go check it out.

They were right. The frozen waterfalls were amazing. It looked as if time stood still as the water poured down the rocks. It was also quite treacherous since half the trail was covered in ice. And if it wasn’t for the crampons we were wearing, I doubt we would have made it very far. It was a pretty intense and fun 6 mile hike for sure.
